About
Hi, I'm Abby!
I’m so happy that you clicked to read more about me!
I live in St. Louis, MO, and I’m married to my best friend. We have twin girls, and 6 chickens (always looking to add more-chickens not kids!)
I consider myself to be:
- “Urban hippie”-Love the city life, but enjoy the simplicity of country living. We’re within a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city, but surround our house with fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and fresh eggs from our chickens.
- Self proclaimed DIYer-I scour Pinterest to find projects and figure out ways to make it myself. While some turn out great, others don’t. It’s a great lesson to test my skills.
- I am a foodie! While I get extremely giddy when a great meal is in front of me, I also have the same feeling when cooking.
- Plants are my serenity. My houseplant collection is too many to count. They provide me with a sense of peace and positive energy. Plants have taught me that in order to thrive, you need proper care and conditions. This is what sparked the name of my business!
My business started at the height of the pandemic. I know, I know…What a great idea to start a new business?! I found myself furloughed from my job in the travel industry that I’ve been in for over 20 years. I was thinking “outside of the box” of what my next path would be. I’ve worked from home for the past 15 years, and wanted to continue to do so, as I am the most productive working this way.
I’m a natural problem solver as well as a big proponent of more prevention than intervention. Getting ahead of things and having systems in place will result in less stress and issues within your business. I take a genuine interest in helping small businesses stay out of the weeds by absorbing some of their workload. I take pride in watching a company grow to its potential.
